Hi, I'm Henry Lam, the founder of 888Gadgets.

I have always been passionate about practical tech gadgets—the kind of clever, well-designed tools that genuinely solve everyday problems and make life just a little bit easier.

The idea for 888Gadgets started organically. I would find unique electronics from Shenzhen, test them out myself, and use them in my daily life. Soon, friends and colleagues started noticing. They would ask where I got a certain gadget, I would order one for them, and they kept coming back for more. Realising how much joy these simple solutions brought to people, I decided to turn this passion into a proper store here in Australia.

Why the name 888Gadgets? In Chinese culture, the number 8 represents luck, prosperity, and good fortune. As a Chinese-Australian, I wanted a name that honours my heritage while bringing a bit of that positive energy to every customer who shops with us.

My promise to you is simple: I never sell anything I haven't personally tested and believed in. Every item in this store has been carefully sourced and vetted by me.
